Time to Refocus

Comments are off for this post.

Wow! I have been posting on Facebook but this page has been a bit neglected. Lots of reasons, some exciting – I went to Rarotonga for a holiday and I taught at the Hamilton Extravaganza on 10 July. Some middle of the road – I am doing two business courses as I work on a business plan and turning being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator and other craft areas I am involved with into a full time business income wise. Some not so exciting – like jury service, it was interesting to see our justice system in action but I am glad that my involvement should be over for at least two years. Although the reimbursement for turning up isn’t great it is a welcome bonus when then is so much I still want from the new catalogue and I will be able as a demonstrator to pre-order from the Holiday/Christmas Catalogue from 2 August. I get a sneak peak at it next week. Exciting!!! It will be released on 1 September online and I will also have hard copies available for those New Zealand clients that want one. Just email me your address details. I also have hard copies of our new annual catalogue if you have not yet got one from me. Alternatively pop down and see me at the next Cambridge market day, Sunday morning 7 August.

Dennis (hubby) has returned to work after his long break of 10 weeks so some routine is returning to the household. Although apparently he has all next week off as he worked too many hours last season. No doubt he will hide away during class times. As I refocus and have more time and ideas for the business my posts will be more frequent as well as updates to other pages on this site.

I will be starting working on this months newsletter soon, there are nine card ideas and instructions as well as plenty of other stuff. Follow the sign up link at the top of this page on the right-hand side if you are not on the mailing list. This newsletter is email only and projects will not be published on this site unless they were designed and submitted by me.

I enjoyed making these cards recently using the Playful Backgrounds Stamp Set (photopolymer 141920), Tin of Cards Stamp Set (photopolymer 138946), Butterfly Thinlits (137360), Our new In Color cardstock and inks (check out the deals to buy all five at a discounted price on pg 169 of the new catalogue), Vellum cardstock (106584) and Pearl Basic Jewels (119247) for that little bit more.
