Retiring Products 2019

Retiring List 2019

What is it?

The Retiring List is a list of all products that will not be orderable after 3 June. Products listed are available only while stocks last. Click here to see retiring products and order online.

Why is it so big?

DON'T PANIC! Stampin' Up will no longer be making wood mount and clear mount stamps. Stamps will be cling or photopolymer. 42 stamp sets are carrying over (will be available in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue) that are currently available as wood mount or clear mount. They will be available as cling stamps in the new catalogue. The list of these stamps is at the end of this post.

Why is the Butterfly Gala Bundle on the retiring list but not the Butterfly Duet Punch?

When you purchase bundled items you get a discount. Some years both or one of the items in a bundle will continue to be available in the next catalogue but not at a discounted price. If you are wanting both the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and the Butterfly Duet Punch it is better value to buy them before 3 June and get 10% off.

Why are no products discounted this year?

The decision to discount some items is made by head office. Inventory levels and popularity of a product are considerations when discounting decisions are made.

Will products be discounted? Some might be after 9 May 2019. If you want an item that is on the retiring list my advice is to buy it now to avoid disappointment. Products will sell out before 3 June 2019. If you are not on my mailing list sign up now. If products are discounted in the future I will be sending an email with that information.

What happens to products that don’t sell out by 3 June?

Stampin’ Up! donates some retired stock to charity and some to demonstrators holding events. Some may also be listed as clearance items in the future.

Why is the Stampin' Trimmer and Big Shot on the Retiring List?

This is the update from Stampin' Up! "We have decided to retire the Stampin’ Trimmer as of 3 June 2019, including all accessories—replacement cutting blades, scoring blades and cutting mats. We’ve experienced challenges with our supplier and are taking the opportunity to research and explore a replacement option for this product, which will not be the same as the current Stampin’ Trimmer."

There is now in place a limit of 6 packs of trimmer blades per order. Again DON'T PANIC when the ordering system shows that they are discontinued. Stampin' Up! has ordered 6 months supply that will be arriving in batches over the next few months. If you need a new blade now contact me as I may have a spare available. NZ only.

Stampin' Up! is working with a new manufacturer for embossing folders and dies. This will be a direct relationship and there will be some changes. I will keep you informed. The Big Shot and accessories plus the multipurpose adhesive sheets are Sizzex products. You will still be able to purchase these through other outlets like Spotlight. A new die cutting and embossing machine is being planned currently we have no release date.

The Stamparatus was a long time in being designed and produced. It was worth the wait!!! I love my Stampin' Trimmer however I'm looking forward to seeing what Stampin' Up! will release.
