Hi, I’ve been in love with all things paper and ink since I was a girl. The start of a new school year with all the new stationery book smell was heaven. I also love books and reading. I discovered that Stampin’ Up!® was in New Zealand when I was planning and making my wedding invitations. The quality of the products was my first attraction. I’ve been an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator for 5+ years originally selling finished items at markets. I decided to build a home base business around Stampin’ Up! 4-1/2 years ago. I teach classes and at one day events plus still attend markets and craft shows. My passion is 3-D projects, different folds and techniques.
I live in Cambridge West (used to be East) in Waipa, South Waikato, New Zealand. I am still married nearly 6 years on and live with my husband Dennis (now retired), our dog Buster, 4 cats – Tui, Panther, Swede and Ashe. Ashe is officially my son’s cat but as he has been here 18 months already I’m not sure if he will ever leave. We also have four laying hens and a number of goldfish (nine at last count). I have one son Nicholas who will be 23 in May 2020.
My husband retired in 2018 and with some of his Kiwisaver we brought a caravan and annex located at Tapu Campground, 20 minutes North of Thames, Coromandel. It is permanently stored there at the moment so we have added a small freestanding deck with a fence for Buster and I’ve made an office and craft area for me so I now have two offices, Home and at the beach. Unfortunately wifi is not great at the beach and I’ll be looking into solutions once we are more settled there – still painting (inside and out) and getting it right for us. Summer 20-21 is going to be awesome.

I have a Diploma in Management Sudies from Waikato University and I’m currently a Silver ranked Independent Demonstrator (I need to frame certificates and put these up in my office). I love owning and running my own business and the freedom I have because of it. If you want to know more about building your own business and making part /all of it being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – visit Join My Team page.
